The longest-Running and Most Prestigious Latin Music Awards Show Featured the Largest Ensemble of World Renowned Music Stars Onstage with Spellbinding and Memorable Performances.
Thrilling millions of television viewers worldwide, the biggest Latin music stars converged to celebrate the best in Latin music at the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Top honors went to the biggest selling Salsa music artist of all time, Marc Anthony who received ten Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Airplay Song of the Year, and Top Latin Album of the Year. La Arrolladora Banda el Limón de René Camacho was honored with five awards including Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group; while Dominican singer/songwriter Prince Royce received four trophies including Streaming Song of the Year. Romeo Santos and the late Jenni Rivera received three awards each.
The three-hour show featured performances by world renowned names in Latin music, including: Marc Anthony, Andrea Bocelli, Juanes, Laura Pausini, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Wisin, Chayanne, Prince Royce, Franco de Vita, David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi, Cristian Castro, La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho, Banda El Recodo De Cruz Lizárraga, Sean Paul and Michel Telo.
Colombian singer Carlos Vives was honored with the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award for his decades’ long commitment on behalf of the indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities; Andrea Bocelli received the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award and Franco de Vita was awarded the Billboard Hall of Fame Award.
